Casa Josep Barnoles was renovated and expanded in keeping with the old building. So much so that it still has the original facade from the beginning of the 20th century.

The Catalan Art Nouveau house designed by the architect Miquel Pascual for Josep Barnoles’ family quickly became known as the house “with the monkey and the dog” thanks to the two animal figures supporting the coat of arms above its door. Catalan Art Nouveau in style and finished in 1905, it also stands out for its wrought ironwork, with metallic roses on its railings, and the large balconied windows that flank its entrance.

Observacions
La torreta modernista que l'arquitecte Miquel Pascual va fer per a la família de Josep Barnoles no va trigar a ser coneguda popularment com la casa "del mico i el gos" per les figures dels dos animals que sostenen l'escut al coronament.
D'estil modernista i acabada el 1905, també cal destacar-ne el treball de ferro forjat amb roses metàl·liques de la reixa i les grans finestres balconeres que flanquegen el portal.
